Old Growth Douglas Fir Flooring If you are looking for old growth Douglas fir flooring with a story behind it, you just found it! This flooring is reclaimed from 90' piling that has been preserved in the ground, under water, below sea level for over 100 years. Besides being preserved for over 100 years, these original trees are estimated to have been in excess of 300 years old before they were harvested.   Most of the flooring has the original yellow look of the original old growth Fir that we so often recognize.
